Jerusalem:Israeli occupation authorities on Friday morning forced two Palestinian citizens to demolish their homes themselves in the Jabal al-Mukabber neighborhood, south of occupied Jerusalem.
According to Palestine news & Information Agency – WAFA – English, local sources reported that the two individuals, Mar'i Jamil Ja'abees and Mohammed Aziz Ja'abees, were compelled to carry out the demolitions in the Al-Sal'a area of Jabal al-Mukabber.
Each home measured approximately 50 square meters and was constructed in 2020. The two houses sheltered a total of 18 family members. The families had previously paid a total of 25,000 shekels in an attempt to prevent the demolitions.
