Post: Israeli Authorities Ban Two Palestinians from Entering Al-Aqsa Mosque for Six Months

Jerusalem: Israeli authorities have issued an order barring two Palestinians from the Silwan neighborhood, south of Jerusalem, from entering the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound for a period of six months.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Jerusalem Governorate reported that Bilal Sarhan and Hatem Jabr al-Abbasi have been banned from accessing the Al-Aqsa Mosque. The report highlighted that the authorities have issued over 300 similar exclusion orders against Jerusalemite residents in relation to the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The decision to ban these individuals forms part of a broader pattern of exclusion orders imposed by the occupation authorities, affecting the rights of numerous residents in Jerusalem. The orders have sparked ongoing concerns and discussions about access to the religious site, which is of significant importance to the local population.
