Jerusalem: Israeli authorities issued a decision on Tuesday banning two Palestinian citizens from Jerusalem from entering the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound. The Jerusalem Governorate reported that the occupation authorities expelled Qaqa'a Bakirat and released prisoner Muhammad Abu al-Hamam, both residents of the Silwan neighborhood, from the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound for one week, subject to renewal.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, this expulsion is part of an ongoing policy targeting Jerusalemites and restricting their right to access the Al-Aqsa Mosque. The decision highlights the continuing tensions and restrictions faced by Palestinian residents in Jerusalem, particularly in relation to their access to religious sites.
