Israeli Authorities Ban Released Detainee from West Bank Entry

Jerusalem: Israeli occupation authorities have issued a decision prohibiting a recently released Jerusalemite detainee from entering the West Bank. The decision affects Shaden Qaws, a student at Birzeit University, who was summoned for an investigation at the Room 4 police station in West Jerusalem, where she was handed a six-month ban.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Qaws, who was released last February, faces significant disruption to her educational pursuits as a result of this decision. The ban prevents her from attending her university classes in the West Bank, impacting her academic progress and future plans. The Jerusalem Governorate confirmed the details in a concise statement, highlighting the ongoing restrictions faced by released detainees.
