Gaza city: The Israeli occupation army carried out a deadly attack this evening in Gaza City, resulting in the death and injury of dozens of civilians, including women and children. The assault took place as civilians were attempting to flee south near al-Shifa Hospital in western Gaza City.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the attack led to the deaths of 13 civilians, with dozens more sustaining injuries, many of whom are in critical condition. Eyewitnesses provided video footage showing bodies scattered on the ground, as panic-stricken residents rushed to transport the injured to nearby medical facilities.
In a separate incident, Israeli shelling in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood, located southwest of Gaza City, resulted in the deaths of two civilians and injuries to eight others when an apartment near al-Quds Hospital was struck.
Medical personnel at al-Saraya Hospital reported receiving three bodies and 11 injured individuals after the Israeli army targeted the al-Sahaba Street area. Hospital sources in Gaza have stated that the total number of civilian deaths for the day has climbed to 74, as the attacks persist.
