Jenin: Israeli occupation forces continue to close the entrances to the town of Ya'bad, south of Jenin, for the tenth consecutive day. Local sources reported that the army had blocked all entrances to the town with earth mounds, except for the main entrance, effectively preventing residents from entering or leaving.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the occupation forces have also compelled several families to vacate their homes, converting them into military outposts where soldiers are currently stationed. The situation has led to the displacement of residents living near these outposts, who have been forced to leave their homes as well.
The sources further detailed that the occupation soldiers are conducting raids and searches of various homes within the town. This ongoing military presence has significantly disrupted daily life in Ya'bad, prompting concerns among the local population.
In response to the military activities, the Jenin South Education Directorate announced that government schools in Ya'bad will transition to online learning. This decision aims to ensure the safety of students amid the presence of occupation soldiers in the area.
