Beirut: The Israeli occupation army has issued immediate evacuation threats to residents of 29 villages in southern Lebanon, urging them to vacate their homes without delay. This directive comes amidst ongoing strikes in the region, escalating tensions between the neighboring countries.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency, the affected villages include Al-Zrariyeh, Kafr Badda, Kharayeb, Ansar, Arzi, Barikaa, Mazraat Basafour, Mazraat Al-Yahoudiyeh, Mazraat Al-Wasata, Mazraat Jamjam, Mazraat Kawkabieh Al-Raz, Matriyat Al-Shoumar, Kafr Sir, Arka, Banaafoul, Jbaa, Jarnaya, Houmin Al-Tahta, Houmin Al-Fawqa, Kafr Beit, Kfar Maliki, Kafr Fila, Kafr Shalal, Ain Bouswar, Aazzeh, Ain Qana, Arab Al-Jal, Roumine, and Sarba. The urgency of the situation has left many residents in a state of alarm as they heed the call to evacuate.
In a separate incident, Lebanese media sources reported the tragic deaths of three women following airstrikes in the town of Kawkabieh Al-Siyad. The strikes have not only resulted in casualties but have also led to significant damage in various regions.
Additionally, the city of Nabatieh and its surrounding towns and villages, including Nabatieh Al-Fawqa, Qabrikhah, Kaft Tibnit, Majdal Zoun, Al-Mansouri, Bayyout Al-Siyad, Al-Sraira, Al-Housh, Al-Qlayleh, Haddatha, Haris, Al-Abbasiyeh, Al-Msayleh, Kafr Rumman, and Al-Haniyeh, have been targeted by warplanes and artillery, contributing to the growing unrest and uncertainty in the area.
