Israeli Army and Colonists Raid Palestinian School Northeast of Tubas

Tubas: Israeli forces, accompanied by colonists, raided the Al-Tahadi School in Khirbet Ibziq, northeast of Tubas, according to a local official. The raid took place while students and staff were present on the school grounds, causing disruption and fear among those inside. The incident resulted in the halting of classes as tension escalated during the intrusion.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Azmi Balawneh, the Director of Education in Tubas, reported that colonists, with protection from the Israeli army, entered the school premises, contributing to the unrest and panic. The ongoing conflict in the region has seen a marked increase in such incidents, affecting the education and daily lives of Palestinian communities.

Since October 7, 2023, there have been 7,154 attacks carried out by colonists against Palestinians and their property, resulting in the deaths of 33 individuals. The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission highlighted the severity of the situation, noting the significant escalation in attacks that have forced several Palestinian families to leave their homes in search of safety.
