Tyre: A Lebanese citizen was killed and eight others were wounded after Israeli forces carried out airstrikes on several towns in southern Lebanon.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the strikes targeted the town of Tura in the Tyre district, where homes and civilian structures were hit. Medical teams reported that one person was killed and eight others sustained injuries of varying severity.
Israeli warplanes also bombed the towns of Tayr Debba, Taybeh, Ayta al-Shaab, and Zawtar El Charqiyeh, causing destruction to buildings. Throughout the attacks, reconnaissance drones were active over the area and dropped threatening leaflets over the targeted towns.
In a separate incident, an Israeli drone strike targeted a building in the town of Kafr Dunin, firing at least one missile that did not explode. Moments later, Israeli fighter jets launched another strike on the same location.
Residents reported panic as the bombardment intensified, adding to fears of further escalation along the southern Lebanon frontier.
