Gaza city: At least 16 Palestinians, including multiple women and children, were killed and others wounded in Israeli airstrikes that targeted various areas across the Gaza Strip early Saturday, according to medical sources. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, one of the deadliest incidents occurred when a mother and her three children were killed by an Israeli airstrike that struck a residential area along Jamal Abdel Nasser Street, near the Islamic University in western Gaza City. In another strike, four women were killed and 10 others were injured when a home near Yaffa School in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood was targeted. In the eastern part of Gaza City, two individuals were reported killed in an airstrike on an apartment in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood. In central Gaza, a young girl lost her life and others were wounded after a house near Al-Hassayna School in the western Nuseirat refugee camp was bombed by an Israeli warplane. Local sources reported that in Deir al-Balah, a dro ne strike on a displacement camp in Al-Manasra killed Suhaib Mahmoud Al-Qreinawi, his wife, and their children. Civil defense teams also recovered the bodies of two additional victims from the Sheikh Nasser area in Khan Younis, with their remains transferred to Nasser Medical Complex. Saturday's attacks signify another escalation in Israel's ongoing offensive on Gaza, which has entered its tenth month. This conflict has resulted in tens of thousands of casualties and has displaced hundreds of thousands, exacerbating an already dire humanitarian crisis.
