Post: Israeli Airstrike Targets Beirut’s Southern Suburbs

Beirut: The Israeli military launched an airstrike on Beirut's southern suburbs on Sunday evening, targeting a building in the Tahwitat Al-Ghadir area. The airstrike has intensified regional tensions, with both sides exchanging retaliatory actions.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Hezbollah announced that it had carried out a series of attacks using explosive-laden drones targeting Israeli border towns and Israeli military positions in southern Lebanon. The group claimed responsibility for these operations, stating they were conducted against military gatherings and vehicles.

Hezbollah stated that the attacks were carried out in response to what it described as continued Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement. The escalation in hostilities highlights the fragile nature of the ceasefire and the ongoing volatility in the region.
