Beirut: Four people, including a woman, were killed and others wounded in an Israeli airstrike on the town of Maaroub in the Tyre district at dawn, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Lebanese Red Cross announced the martyrdom of a paramedic and the wounding of another while they were carrying out a humanitarian mission on the road to the town of Beit Yahoun in the Bint Jbeil district. The paramedics were directly targeted by an Israeli drone during their mission.
Israeli artillery also targeted the towns of Haniyeh and Qalila, while Zibqin in the Tyre district experienced artillery and phosphorus shelling. In addition, Israeli warplanes bombed the town of Siddiqin in the Tyre district and shelled the Mashaa neighborhood between Mansouri and Majdal Zoun.
Further airstrikes were launched at dawn on the Al-Hawa neighborhood in Nabatieh, targeting several residential buildings and causing extensive damage. The strikes also hit and destroyed a house opposite the Martyrs' Cemetery in Jebchit and bombed the vicinity of the Al-Amin station in Shoukin three times.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health had previously reported that 2,055 people had been killed and 6,588 others wounded since the start of the Israeli offensive on March 2nd.
