Israeli Airstrike Claims Life of Palestinian Civilian, Injures Dozens in Gaza

Gaza city: Israeli bombardment claimed the life of one Palestinian civilian and injured numerous others north of Gaza City on Monday afternoon.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Al-Shifa Hospital confirmed the arrival of one deceased Palestinian and several injured individuals following an Israeli airstrike on a group of civilians in the Al-Safatawi neighborhood. The ongoing conflict has seen a significant number of casualties despite a ceasefire agreement that went into effect on October 10, 2025.

Since the implementation of the ceasefire, the occupation forces have killed 672 Palestinians and injured 1,754 others. During this period, 756 bodies have been retrieved. The broader military offensive, which began in October 2023, has resulted in the deaths of 72,247 Palestinians, predominantly women and children, and injuries to 171,878 others.

Thousands of victims remain trapped under debris, with emergency responders facing challenges due to insufficient equipment for effective debris removal and rescue operations.
