Ramallah: Israel has seized 41 dunums of Palestinian land in the Ramallah Governorate under security and military pretexts. The Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission documented the appropriation, which occurred at the beginning of the month through military orders labeled as 'land appropriation orders.' The affected areas include the villages of Shibteen, Deir 'Ammar, Deir Qaddis, Deir Ghassaneh, and Al-Lubban.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, since the start of 2025, Israeli authorities have issued 19 military orders aimed at appropriating Palestinian land. Notably, six of these orders were utilized to create buffer zones around illegal colonies. The recent surge in such orders reflects an intensified effort to establish new realities on the ground, including the construction of military towers, roads for army and colonial use, and additional buffer zones surrounding colonies.
These military orders are reported to serve the interests of colonists and support colonial expansion, significantly restricting Palestinians' ability to maintain normal living conditions.
