Post: Israel Reports 13 Fatalities and Nearly 2,000 Injured in Iranian Attacks

Tel aviv: At least 13 Israelis were killed and 1,929 others injured in Iranian attacks on Israel since last week, the Israeli Health Ministry said Sunday. A ministry statement detailed that 157 people were injured in the most recent 24-hour period.

According to Anadolu Agency, the ministry explained that 112 people remain hospitalized, with nine individuals in serious condition. The ministry also advised Israelis to take precautions when seeking shelter, as several injuries occurred during hurried attempts to reach safety.

The regional conflict escalated following a joint attack by Israel and the US on Iran on February 28, which resulted in the deaths of more than 1,200 individuals, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, and injuries to over 10,000 others. In response, Tehran launched missile and drone attacks targeting Israel and Gulf countries hosting US military assets.
