Post: Israel Issues Stop-Work Orders for 13 Residential Structures Northwest of Jerusalem

Jerusalem: Israeli occupation authorities on Sunday issued stop-work orders for 13 residential structures in the town of Beit Surik, northwest of occupied Jerusalem.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency, the Jerusalem Governorate stated that Israeli authorities delivered construction halt notices to several residents in the town, impacting 13 residential structures. This action is part of ongoing measures targeting Palestinian construction within the governorate.

Israeli authorities have been focusing on Palestinian communities in occupied Jerusalem by issuing stop-work and demolition orders. These actions are accompanied by stringent restrictions on the issuance of building permits for Palestinians. Meanwhile, settlement expansion and the seizure of additional Palestinian land continue without interruption.
