Post: Israel Expropriates Land in Northern West Bank Villages

Jenin: Israeli occupation authorities on Monday seized a large tract of land belonging to the villagers of Fandaqumiya and Silat ad-Dhahr, southwest of Jenin, and Burqa, northwest of Nablus.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission (CWRC) reported that the authorities expropriated 47 donums of land from these villages. This move expanded upon a previous military order from December 2025, which had already appropriated 503 donums to construct a road linking the formerly evacuated colonies of Homesh and Sanur.

The commission further stated that 23 military orders have been issued recently, resulting in the expropriation of Palestinian land in the northern West Bank, especially in the Tubas and Jenin governorates. These actions aim to establish military infrastructure to facilitate the construction of new colonies in the region.
