Jerusalem: UN Secretary-General's Spokesperson St©phane Dujarric stated that Israel continues to obstruct humanitarian aid operations into the Gaza Strip, despite the ceasefire agreement in effect since last October.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, he added at a press conference at UN Headquarters in New York, 'Our colleagues at the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) have reported that humanitarian operations in Gaza continue to face major obstacles.'
He explained that of approximately 50 aid initiatives coordinated between February 6 and 11, 'Israeli authorities only allowed half of them to enter' Gaza.
