Israel Bans Director and Head Custodian of Hebron’s Ibrahimi Mosque from Entering It

Hebron: Israeli occupation forces today delivered a decision banning the director of the Ibrahimi Mosque, Mu'taz Abu Sneineh, and the head custodian, Hammam Abu Murkhiya, from entering the mosque for fifteen days. Abu Sneineh announced that he was summoned to the Telem police station, where he received a notice prohibiting both himself and Abu Murkhiya from being present within the mosque's premises or engaging in prayer activities in the mosque and its courtyards.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, this decision is a part of broader practices by the occupation authorities, aimed at reducing Palestinian presence in the Ibrahimi Mosque and the Old City of Hebron. The measure reflects ongoing tensions and the complex dynamics surrounding religious sites in the region.
