Jeddah: Professor Mohammed bin Suleiman Aba Al-Khail, Executive Director of the Islamic Solidarity Fund, welcomed Ambassador Hadi Shibli, Permanent Representative of the State of Palestine to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, at the Fund's headquarters. The meeting was also attended by Professor Nassim Al-Zaanin, Counselor at the Permanent Delegation.
According to Union of OIC News Agencies, the discussions focused on reviewing the Fund's activities and achievements, particularly those aligned with the decisions made by the Fund’s Permanent Council and the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation member states. Professor Mohammed bin Suleiman Aba Al-Khail expressed the Fund’s openness to receiving health, education, or social project proposals from the State of Palestine. These proposals could potentially be considered for inclusion in the projects for the upcoming session of the Permanent Council.
In addition to project discussions, both parties engaged in dialogue on various topics of mutual interest, reiterating their commitment to continued cooperation in support of the Palestinian people. The meeting underscored the shared aim of advancing initiatives that benefit the region and strengthen ties between the organizations involved.
