Tehran: Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian has firmly stated that Iran will respond to any US-Israeli attacks that originate from other countries, emphasizing the nation's perspective of neighboring countries as "brothers."
According to Anadolu Agency, during a visit to a health center, Pezeshkian clarified that his previous remarks, in which he apologized for attacks on neighboring countries, were misunderstood. He reinforced Iran's stance against aggression, asserting that the country's armed and volunteer Basij forces are prepared to defend with full strength.
Pezeshkian underlined that Iran will not succumb to bullying or aggression, urging for peaceful resolutions among neighboring countries. He called for these nations to address their differences internally, avoiding external influences that aim to incite conflict.
Since February 28, over 1,200 individuals, including Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and top military officials, have been killed in US-Israeli attacks on Iran. In response, Tehran has launched drone and missile strikes targeting Israel and Gulf nations housing US military assets.
