Jerusalem: Israeli colonists stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound on Thursday, under the protection of Israeli forces.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, 1,138 colonists entered the mosque in groups through the Mughrabi Gate, conducting provocative tours and performing Talmudic rituals in its courtyards.

Since October 7, 2023, Israeli forces have intensified their security measures at the gates of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the entrances to the Old City.
