Gaza city: The Palestine Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted a continuation of hot to very hot weather conditions across the region. Temperatures are expected to remain significantly above the annual average, with no change anticipated for Tuesday, remaining 3-4 degrees Celsius higher than normal. Winds will be westerly to northwesterly, varying between light to moderate, and occasionally becoming active, while sea waves are predicted to be light to medium.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the weather is expected to be generally clear and pleasant during the evening and night hours in most areas. Similar wind and sea conditions will persist, with westerly to northwesterly winds and light to medium sea waves.
For Wednesday, a slight drop in temperatures is anticipated, yet they will still remain 2-3 degrees Celsius above the average. The hot to very hot conditions will persist, accompanied by light to moderate westerly to northwesterly winds, occasionally active, and light to medium sea waves.
Thursday's forecast predicts a continuation of hot to very hot weather, with no significant change in temperature, maintaining a level 2-3 degrees Celsius above the norm. The wind and sea conditions are expected to remain consistent with previous days.
Hot conditions will also prevail on Friday, with temperatures persisting at 2-3 degrees Celsius above the average. Light to moderate westerly to northwesterly winds will continue, becoming active at intervals.
The PMD has issued a warning against prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, particularly during peak hours from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. It has also advised against starting fires in areas with abundant dry grass and urged the public to adhere to safety instructions issued by the Civil Defense.
