Health Ministry Launches Eighth Round of Blood Donation Campaign for Gaza

Ramallah: The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Saturday the launch of the eighth round of the 'Damuna Wahed' (Our Blood is One) campaign, aimed at collecting blood donations in support of the wounded and sick in the Gaza Strip, where humanitarian and health conditions continue to deteriorate due to ongoing Israeli aggression.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the ministry stated that the campaign will commence on Sunday and will be conducted across all governorates of the occupied West Bank. Blood donations will be collected at public hospital blood banks, the central blood bank, and through a mobile blood donation unit. The initiative is set to continue until the end of the month.

Minister of Health, Majed Abu Ramadan, emphasized that the campaign is part of the ministry's efforts to address the urgent and growing health needs in Gaza, where the entry of medicines and medical supplies remains restricted by Israeli authorities. He called on citizens throughout the West Bank to participate in the campaign by donating blood at designated locations, thereby aiding patients and the wounded in Gaza.
