Gaza city: The death toll in the Gaza Strip has reached 66,225, the majority of whom were women and children, since the beginning of the Israeli aggression in October 2023. At least 168,938 others have also been injured.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, sources stated that 51 bodies and 222 injured individuals were brought to hospitals in Gaza during the past 24 hours. The ongoing conflict continues to take a heavy toll on the region's civilian population.
Over the past 24 hours, two Palestinians have been killed and over 44 others have been injured while attempting to receive humanitarian aid. This brings the total number of aid seekers killed in aid-related attacks to 2,582, with over 18,974 others wounded as they strive to access essential resources.
The reported figures remain incomplete, as many victims are still trapped under rubble, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue crews. The humanitarian situation in Gaza remains dire, with rescue operations facing significant challenges.
