Gaza Death Toll Rises to 69,756 as Medical Teams Struggle to Reach Victims

Gaza: Health authorities in the Gaza Strip reported on Sunday that the death toll has reached 69,756 Palestinians killed, the majority of them children and women, since the Israeli aggression began in October 2023. The escalating violence has resulted in a dire humanitarian situation, with many families suffering immense losses.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the number of injured has risen to 170,946. Many victims remain trapped under the rubble, and ambulance and rescue teams are struggling to reach them due to the dangerous conditions and widespread destruction. The ongoing conflict has severely hampered relief efforts, further exacerbating the crisis.

Over the past 24 hours, hospitals in Gaza have received 23 fatalities, including two bodies recovered from under debris, and 83 injured individuals. Medical facilities are overwhelmed, and resources are stretched thin as they continue to provide care to the influx of casualties.

Since the ceasefire agreement on October 11, the Strip has recorded 339 deaths related to Israeli attacks, 871 injuries, and 574 bodies recovered from destroyed areas. The situation remains tense, and the international community is urged to intervene to prevent further loss of life and provide aid to those affected by the conflict.
