Gaza Death Toll from Israel’s Deadly Aggression Surpasses 61,776

Gaza: Medical sources confirmed on Thursday that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 61,776, the majority of whom are children and women, since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, these sources reported that the death toll has climbed to 154,906 since the beginning of the aggression, with many victims still trapped under the rubble, inaccessible to ambulances and civil defense teams. In the past 24 hours alone, 54 people were killed, including 4 who were recovered, and 831 were wounded in the Gaza Strip. Since March 18, when the ceasefire agreement was violated, the tally of deaths has reached 10,251, and 42,865 individuals have been wounded.

Further details from the agency reveal that the number of slain aid-seekers admitted to hospitals over the past 24 hours reached 22, with 269 injured. This brings the total number of slain aid-seekers at hospitals to 1,881, with the total number of injured reaching 13,863. In addition, hospitals in the Gaza Strip documented four deaths due to starvation and malnutrition in the past 24 hours, raising the total number of such deaths to 239, including 106 children.
