Gaza Death Toll from Israel’s Deadly Aggression Surpasses 56,077

Gaza: Medical sources announced on Tuesday that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 56,077, the majority of whom are children and women, since the start of the Israeli occupation's aggression on October 7, 2023.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the same sources added that the death toll has increased to 131,848 since the beginning of the aggression. A number of victims remain trapped under rubble, inaccessible to ambulance and civil defense crews.

The sources reported that in the past 24 hours, 79 deceased individuals, including five whose bodies were recovered, and 289 injuries were reported at hospitals in the Gaza Strip. Since March 18, when the occupation violated the ceasefire agreement, the death toll has reached 5,759, with 19,807 injuries.

The number of aid victims arriving at hospitals over the past 24 hours reached 49, with more than 197 injured, bringing the total number of victims taken to hospitals to 516, with more than 3,799 injured. Despite efforts, many victims remain under debris and on the streets, inaccessible to rescue teams.
