Four Palestinian Civilians Killed in Israeli Airstrike on Displaced Persons’ Tents in Khan Younis

Khan Younis: Four Palestinian citizens were killed and others injured when Israeli warplanes struck the tents of displaced families near Al-Hidaya Mosque in the Al-Qarara area, northwest of Khan Yunis. The incident occurred on Monday afternoon, adding to the ongoing violence in the region.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, earlier in the day, Israeli forces also targeted civilians waiting for humanitarian aid in different areas across the Gaza Strip, particularly in Rafah. This resulted in the deaths of more than 15 people and injured dozens more. The ongoing attacks have significantly impacted those seeking aid, with the total number of aid-seekers killed in Israeli airstrikes and shootings rising to 450, and nearly 3,466 reported wounded since the establishment of aid distribution points late last month.

Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation forces have launched an offensive on the Gaza Strip. This offensive has resulted in the deaths of 55,998 Palestinian citizens, the majority of whom were children and women, and over 131,559 people have been wounded. The situation continues to escalate, with significant loss of life and injuries among civilians in the region.
