Gaza: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the Israeli occupation army's deliberate targeting of the Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital in the Gaza Strip.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Ministry stated that targeting and destroying hospitals, health centers, and medical and emergency personnel constitutes a war crime and a crime against humanity punishable under international law.
The Ministry further criticized this attack as a systematic attempt to intensify the genocide and displacement of the Palestinian people and annex their homeland. It is seen as part of the occupation's strategy of using starvation, deprivation of medical care, and denial of basic human rights as instruments of war.
The statement highlighted that the silence and inaction of the international community have effectively allowed the continuation of Israeli aggression. The Ministry called for immediate and effective international intervention to halt the aggression and protect Palestinians and their rights.
