Post: Five Palestinians Injured in Hit-and-Run Incidents by Israeli Colonists Near Bethlehem

Bethlehem: Five Palestinian workers from Nahalin, west of Bethlehem, sustained injuries on Tuesday in two separate hit-and-run incidents involving Israeli colonists. Israeli forces also detained five other Palestinian workers from the neighboring village of Husan.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, security sources revealed that a colonist ran over four Palestinian workers near the village of Wadi Fukin, west of Bethlehem, as they attempted to reach their workplaces in Jerusalem. The injured workers, identified as Abdullah Abu Diya, Majdi al-Najjar, Muhammad Fanoun, and Mohammad Shakarna, experienced bruises and cuts due to the incident.

The sources further indicated that in a separate event, a settler ran over Ali Rizq Ali Yassin after Israeli police shot and wounded him in the leg. Yassin was subsequently transferred to a hospital in Jerusalem for medical treatment.

Simultaneously, Israeli forces detained Laith Shousha, Alaa Shousha, Yassin Hamamra, Muhammad Hamamra, and Mansour Zaoul as they attempted to reach their workplaces in occupied Jerusalem.
