Five Killed, Others Wounded by Israeli Forces Near Aid Center

Gaza City: Five citizens were killed and others wounded on Thursday by Israeli occupation forces near an aid center in the Sudaniya area, northwest of Gaza City. The incident has raised serious concerns over the safety of aid distribution points in the region.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, thirteen citizens were killed and approximately 200 others were wounded by Israeli fire this morning at an aid distribution center near the Netzarim checkpoint in the central Gaza Strip. The attacks on aid centers have escalated over the past few days, targeting locations in Rafah and the central Gaza Strip, resulting in dozens of deaths and injuries.

The United Nations has confirmed that these actions are intended to forcefully displace residents, suggesting a strategy of ethnic cleansing. On Wednesday alone, 57 citizens were killed and 363 others were wounded in gunfire while waiting for aid under the "US-Israeli aid mechanism."

Medical sources have reported that the total number of people killed and taken to hospitals from areas designated for aid distribution has reached 224, with more than 1,858 injured since May 27. The aid distribution centers of the Israeli-American Gaza Humanitarian Relief Foundation, a UN-rejected organization, have become perilous zones, further complicating the already dire humanitarian conditions.
