Post: FCC Stresses Need for Complete Cessation of Gaza Genocide, Implementation of UNSC Resolution 2803

Gaza city: Fatah Central Committee (FCC) stressed on Thursday the need for a complete cessation of Israel's genocidal aggression in the Gaza Strip and the implementation of UNSC Resolution 2803.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the FCC made its remarks during a meeting in Ramallah under the chairmanship of Fatah's Deputy Chairman, Hussein Al Sheikh. The committee convened to address the pressing issues surrounding the ongoing conflict and to strategize on measures to protect Palestinian lives and rights amidst escalating tensions.

During the meeting, the FCC discussed the overall national situation, focusing on the continued terror attacks by Israeli colonists. These attacks have resulted in repeated assaults on the Palestinian people in villages, cities, and refugee camps. The committee also expressed concern over the construction of new colonies, which they see as a violation of international law and a significant obstacle to peace.

Furthermore, the FCC highlighted the unprecedented Israeli escalation in the region and examined the potential for a renewed US-Israeli war against Iran. The committee emphasized the need for international intervention and called for immediate actions to halt the violence and ensure compliance with international resolutions.

In light of these discussions, the FCC reiterated its commitment to pursuing all possible avenues to safeguard Palestinian territories and uphold the rights of its people in accordance with international mandates.
