Fatah Revolutionary Council to Hold 12th Session in Ramallah

Ramallah: Under the chairmanship of President Mahmoud Abbas, the Fatah Revolutionary Council is set to hold its 12th session in Ramallah on February 20. This two-day meeting will focus on the latest developments in Palestine, the resilience of the Palestinian people in Gaza, and efforts for reconstruction.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Younis Amr, a member of the Revolutionary Council, shared that the session will address Israel's ongoing aggression in the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip. He highlighted the importance of discussing these issues in the context of the council's agenda.

Amr emphasized that the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) remains the sole legitimate representative of the Palestinian people, despite facing external pressures and regional agendas. He reiterated the organization's commitment to defending Palestinian rights and maintaining national unity.

Furthermore, Amr stressed that no external conferences or initiatives that fall outside the national consensus will undermine the legitimacy of the PLO. The council aims to reinforce its stance on these matters during the upcoming session.
