Gaza city: At least eight Palestinians were killed and several others injured on Saturday as Israeli occupation forces launched airstrikes targeting the neighborhood of Al-Zaytoun and the town of Jabalia al-Balad in the Gaza Strip.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, four civilians were killed and others wounded when Israeli warplanes struck a home near Salah al-Din Mosque in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.
In a separate incident, four more people were killed and others sustained injuries following an Israeli drone strike in the Jabalia al-Balad area in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, medical sources confirmed that a total of 50 Palestinians have been killed since early Saturday morning as Israel continues its genocidal war across the enclave.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 57,338 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 135,957 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel’s genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
