Jerusalem: Eight Lebanese citizens were killed on Tuesday following an Israeli airstrike on the Al-Masaken al-Shaabiyya area in the city of Tyre, southern Lebanon.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency, Israeli aircraft also struck the city of Nabatieh and the town of Kfar Sir, while the village of Jibsheet came under intermittent artillery shelling.
The attacks come amid continued escalation along the southern Lebanese front.
