Sidon: Eight Lebanese were killed and nine others injured on Friday after Israeli warplanes bombed the southern Lebanese city of Sidon.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Lebanese National News Agency reported that Israeli warplanes targeted the top floor of a residential building in the Al-Fawwar area in the eastern district of Sidon.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health stated that the airstrike resulted in the killing of eight people and the injury of nine others, in a preliminary toll.
