Death Toll in Gaza Strip Reaches 47,354 as Conflict Persists

Gaza City: Medical sources announced today that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 47,354, the majority of whom are children and women, since the start of the Israeli occupation aggression on October 7, 2023.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the number of injured individuals has surged to 111,563 since the onset of the aggression, with thousands of victims still trapped under rubble. The situation remains dire as rescue efforts continue to face significant challenges.

The sources confirmed that 48 slain Palestinians arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip over the past 48 hours, including 37 whose bodies were recovered. Additionally, 80 injuries were reported during the same period as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression. The aftermath of the conflict has left numerous victims beneath debris and in the streets, rendering rescue teams unable to reach them in many areas.
