Gaza: The death toll in the Gaza Strip from the unrelenting genocidal Israeli aggression has reached 48 since dawn Thursday, according to medical sources.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, 48 Palestinian civilians were killed in different parts of the war-battered Strip since the early morning hours of Thursday. The bodies of 11 slain civilians were admitted to Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunes, 19 others to Al-Aqsa Hospital, six to Al-Awda Hospital, two to Arab Ahli Hospital, and 10 to Al-Shifa Hospital.
Israel unilaterally ended the Gaza ceasefire agreement and resumed its aggression on the Strip on Tuesday, March 18, carrying out a wave of bloody airstrikes across the Strip and killing at least 12,939, with 55,335 others wounded, according to medical sources.
The ongoing military onslaught by Israel since October 2023 has resulted in the deaths of 65,502 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuries to 167,376 others. Additionally, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.
The Israeli aggression has further led to the forced displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip. The vast majority of the displaced have been forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafah near the border with Egypt, marking the largest mass exodus in Palestine since the 1948 Nakba.
