Death Toll Across Gaza Strip Surges to 71,266, Over 171,219 Injured

Gaza city: The number of Palestinians killed in the Gaza Strip since the start of the Israeli genocidal war in October 2023 has reached 71,266, the majority of whom are women and children, according to medical sources.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local health authorities reported that the total number of injuries has risen to 171,219. Many victims remain trapped under rubble, with emergency and rescue teams unable to reach them.

Over the past 48 hours, approximately 29 Palestinians were reported killed, including 25 previously unrecorded victims, along with eight injuries.

Since the ceasefire agreement on October 11, 2025, a total of 414 fatalities and 1,142 injuries have been recorded, and 679 bodies have been recovered.
