Gaza Strip: Medical sources announced today that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 48,319, the majority of whom are children and women, since the start of the Israeli occupation aggression on October 7, 2023.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the number of casualties has increased to 111,749 since the start of the aggression, while many victims remain trapped under the rubble. Ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.
The sources indicated that 22 slain Palestinians arrived at Gaza Strip hospitals, with all bodies recovered, and 16 injuries reported during the past 24 hours.
It is noteworthy that the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip entered into force on January 19, and since its implementation, several citizens have been killed and injured in different parts of the Strip.
