Jiljilya: Confrontations broke out on Monday evening in the village of Jiljilya, north of Ramallah, after groups of Israeli colonists raided the town, local sources reported. The sources said colonists fired live bullets at a home during the incursion, destroyed solar panels, and stole surveillance cameras, sparking confrontations with local Palestinian citizens. No injuries were reported.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Palestinian communities across the occupied West Bank frequently face similar attacks, including home and farm invasions, property destruction, theft of agricultural equipment and solar systems, live fire targeting residents, and the burning of olive trees and farmland.
In the Ramallah district, these assaults are particularly concentrated in towns and villages including Sinjil, Turmus Ayya, Deir Dibwan, and Al-Mughayyir, and are often linked to attempts to establish new settlement outposts, threatening the safety and stability of local residents.
