Colonists Vandalize Mosque and School Content in Khirbet Tana Near Nablus

Nablus: Israeli colonists on Friday vandalized the contents of a mosque in Khirbet Tana, a hamlet located near the town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Thaer Hanani, an official of the Committee for the Defense of Tana Lands, stated that the colonists stormed the Bayt Al-Sheikh Mosque, causing extensive damage throughout the property. The attack included the destruction of solar power units and damage to the carpets inside the mosque.

Hanani further reported that the colonists also targeted Al-Sumoud 3 School, which had already been largely demolished. The school suffered additional destruction following the forced evacuation of around 40 families from the area earlier this year.

He expressed concerns that these repeated raids, backed by Israeli forces and the protection provided to the colonists, signify an attempt to forcibly depopulate the area of its Palestinian residents, potentially paving the way for complete control of the land.
