Qalqilya: Colonists stormed Palestinian-owned land in the Arab al-Khouli community, east of Kafr Thulth, south of Qalqilya, on Wednesday.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Kafr Thulth Mayor Jihad Odeh stated that colonists, accompanied by their livestock, entered the community and issued direct threats against the ten residents, demanding they vacate their land. The colonists also forced Kayed Khouli to leave his home at gunpoint to graze their livestock on the land.
Odeh noted that this was not the first incident of its kind, as settlers had previously attacked the community, vandalizing property. He suggested that these actions are part of a broader attempt by the colonists to seize the area and displace the residents.
The Arab al-Khouli community, located in Khirbet Ayoun Kafr Qara, comprises about 10 citizens and is surrounded by eight colonies. These include "Ma'ale Shomron" and "Shavei Menachem" to the north, "El Matan" and "Ganat Shomron" to the east, and "Novim", "Yekir", "Immanuel", and "Karnei Shomron" to the south. The community's only outlet leads west to the town of Kafr Thulth.
