Colonists Storm Outskirts of Sinjil Town North of Ramallah

Sinjil: A group of Israeli colonists stormed the southern outskirts of Sinjil, a town north of Ramallah, on Friday evening, triggering confrontations with local residents.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, citing eyewitness accounts, armed colonists detained, threatened, and assaulted several residents and activists who tried to confront the attack. Eyewitnesses stated that colonists broke into the Al-Tal area south of Sinjil and tried to advance toward the town. This prompted stone-throwing confrontations after residents spotted the intrusion and mobilized to stop the colonists from reaching residential areas.

Concurrently, colonists set fire to a cluster of cypress trees in an agricultural area near the nearby town of Turmus Ayya, northeast of Ramallah.
