Nablus: Colonists attacked Khirbet Tana, east of Beit Furik, east of Nablus, at dawn on Tuesday. Thaer Hanani, head of the Tana Land Defense Committee, reported that a group of colonists stormed the village, detaining 12 young residents in the Beit Sheikh Mosque last night.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the colonists opened fire before an Israeli army jeep arrived. The jeep personnel began shooting and severely beating the young men, seizing their phones and wallets during the incident.
Hanani further stated that four colonist-owned vehicles later arrived at the site, carrying a group of teenagers. These individuals assaulted the young men and detained them for over four hours before releasing them.
He also mentioned that the colonists stole two young men's cell phones during the attack.
