Ramallah: Israeli colonists on Monday set up a new colonial outpost in the eastern part of Rammun town, east of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, colonists established a new outpost on privately-owned Palestinian land at the Jisr al-Khalleh locality, erecting a tent and mobile homes. It stated that this step was part of Israel's longstanding practice of expelling indigenous Palestinians from their homeland and replacing them with Jewish colonists. The organization noted that the new outpost would serve as a breeding ground for acts of terrorism against Palestinian inhabitants.
Approximately 1 million Israeli colonists are living in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in violation of international law.
