Post: Colonists Set Fire to Wheat Crops in Idhna, West of Hebron

Hebron: Israeli colonists set fire on Tuesday to wheat crops in the town of Idhna, west of Hebron, according to local sources. Residents said colonists continued what they described as acts of harassment and provocation in the eastern part of the town, near the Adora settlement and the nearby Adorayim outpost. The colonists allegedly burned large areas of wheat fields belonging to local farmers.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency, farmers condemned the incident, saying the attacks were carried out under the protection of Israeli forces. They stressed that they would continue working their lands despite what they described as attempts by colonists to seize the area for settlement expansion.

Local residents also reported that colonists have been involved in other incidents in the area, including the theft of livestock and crops, harassment and assaults against residents, the seizure of vehicles, and road closures. The ongoing tension has raised concerns about the safety and livelihood of the local community.
