Post: Colonists Set Fire to Olive Trees Northeast of Ramallah

Ramallah: Colonists on Monday evening set fire to several olive trees between the town of Turmus Ayya and the village of Abu Falah, northeast of Ramallah, according to local sources.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency, colonists ignited fires on olive-planted lands in the area, prompting local residents to confront them and ultimately force them to leave.

Following the incident, Israeli occupation forces entered the area, offering protection to the colonists and obstructing Civil Defense firefighting teams from accessing the area to put out the blaze.

The towns and villages northeast of Ramallah have been experiencing repeated incursions by Israeli occupation forces. These incursions are accompanied by ongoing attacks by colonists on Palestinian residents and their property, with a particular focus on agricultural lands and olive trees.
