Ramallah: Colonists on Monday evening set fire to agricultural land in the village of al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, according to local sources. The incident took place in the eastern plain area of the village, leading to significant damage as large areas were engulfed in flames.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency, the occupation forces arrived on the scene following the arson attack to provide protection to the colonists. In doing so, they prevented local residents from accessing the area and opened fire toward them. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident.
A report from the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission disclosed that Israeli forces and colonists executed a total of 1,637 attacks against Palestinian people, their land, and property throughout April. The occupation army was responsible for 1,097 of these attacks, while colonists conducted 540 incidents. The assaults were predominantly concentrated in the Nablus governorate with 402 attacks, followed by Hebron with 340, Ramallah and al-Bireh with 312, and Bethlehem with 171.
